Loving The Lakes And Palaces Of Udaipur
The morning solar was already baking the streets as I began my day. Grateful I had the foresight to pack a hat, I wandered through the native market. Outdated and younger women, dressed in bright pinks and brilliant yellows, sat alongside the steps of the Jagdish Temple, braiding rings of flowers on the market. With marriage ceremony season officially in full swing, the streets were full of distributors promoting all the things from fabrics and jewellery, to painstakingly hand painted invitations. As the market streets pulsed with the vitality of town, my guide pointed out the settings used for the James Bond basic, Octopussy. The movie got here to life with each step, and i continued down the principle highway, towards the city Palace.
